INTRODUCTION OF POST AND DEPARTMENT

civil judge exam, HPSC, Haryana Public Service Commission has issued an advertisement for recruitment on the post of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Haryana Civil Service, in which both males and females can apply. Interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria and then apply for the post through online mode only. All the necessary links for filling the form are given below. Age Limit 

Minimum: 21 Years.

Maximum: 42 Years.

Relaxation for some categories as suggested by the official notice issued by HPSC.

The candidate should attain the age before 15 February 2021.

QUALIFICATION

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Law from any government recognized university.
  • The expression “Degree of Bachelor of Laws”. means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an Advocate.

SELECTION PROCESS

 

  • The selection of candidates for the civil judge exam will be made on the basis of examination and interview. The examination will be conducted in 2 phases followed by the interview.
  • The stages of the selection process are:
    1. Preliminary Examination
    2. Main Written Examination
    3. Interview

 

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

  • The preliminary examination will be of objective type, that is, MCQ type questions will be there.
  • The duration of the examination will be of 2 hours.
  • It will consist of 125 questions and each question will carry 4 marks.
  • For every wrong answer, 0.80 marks will be deducted and no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
  • The standard of question paper will be of Law graduate level.

Question Type (Syllabus):

  • The objective type multiple choice questions for the preliminary examination shall be from the syllabus for the Main Written Examination.
  • The candidate should have a basic and general overview of the mains subjects and also the ability to answer the questions on Current Events of National and International Importance, Indian Legal and Constitutional History, and Governance.
  • Candidates will also be tested for his/her Analytical Skills, Reasoning Ability, and Aptitude.

Preliminary Examination is only a screening test for selecting candidates who would be eligible to take the Main Examination and the marks obtained in this Examination shall not be counted towards the final merit list preparation.

The qualifying marks for the Preliminary examination will be 150 for General category candidates and 100 for reserved category candidates.

 

MAIN EXAMINATION

  • Only candidates qualifying for Preliminary Examination will be called for the Mains Examination.
  • Candidates shortlisted for Main Examination will be required to again fill the application form for Mains Examination.
  • All papers shall be descriptive in nature and the duration of each paper will be three hours.
  • For candidates to be eligible to appear for an interview, have to secure at least 45% marks aggregate of all papers and at least 25% marks in each paper.

After the mains examination, eligible candidates will be called for an interview which will be of 150 marks and candidates will be shortlisted for vacant posts only on the basis of mains examination and interview.

HOW TO FILL ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

 

  1. The online application form for the civil judge exam can be filled on the website (link is given below).
  2. For registration working mobile number and e-mail id is necessary for sharing important information with candidates by the board.
  3. Till the end of the examination and recruitment process, all communications will be made with the candidate through the given phone number and email-id only.
  4. Only one form can be filled through one phone number only.
  5. Candidates are required to fill all the information in the form correctly, any mistake noticed in name filling in the form, and in other details, while cross-checking with documents, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
  6. Candidates should fill their categories with utmost care finding any mistake later will lead to disqualification.
  7. Essential things to carry with you while filling the form:
    • Colored Photographs of the candidate with a white background and 15 to 25 kb.
    • The signature of the candidate in both English and Hindi with white background and size of the image should be between 15 to 25 kb.
    • Scanned images of all the necessary documents required for Age proof and Educational Qualifications.
  8. Any changes will not be entertained, Once after submitting and confirming the details of the application form.
  9. Candidates can get the acknowledgment paper printed on an A4 size sheet after filling the form and keep safe the registration number, it will be required for future use.
